LiDAR Technology
DATA COLLECTION USING LiDAR

- The laser scanner transmits brief laser pulses to the ground surface, which are reflected back to the laser scanner, recorded with a time signature and intensity value.
- While flying, the airplanes position is determined using GPS, and the direction of the laser pulses are determined using the IMU.
Airborne LiDAR Key Benefits:

- Performance industryleading pulse rate, FOV, aperture and MPiA
- Accuracy high-fidelity laser pulses, regardless of pulse rate
- Flexibility corridors to countrywide mapping, inside or in pods
- Productivity worlds fastest Multiple Pulses in Air (MPiA) sensor
- Efficiency fast pointcloud processing, with quicklook capability and easylookup annotated digital images
- Mobility regionadapted components
